OUR COMMITMENT TO ECOLOGY

The protection of environment, neglected for a long time now, has become one of the important challenges of our companies. As protagonists of the economy, it is our duty to participate in this movement actively. We have devoted the development of Leclar, (situated in the state of Tamilnadu –South India) to this imperative aspect of ecology, concentrating our activity on all types of packaging done out of natural materials, (silk, linen, jute, cotton, and organic cotton). The management of the company has been entrusted to Mrs. Vedha.

Leclar has forbidden child labour and all the other discriminations based on religion, caste and sex.


Leclar employs 85% of women in its units of conception, production and marketing.


MOTIVATION


Leclar assures its employees attractive working conditions, with recruitments over an unspecified period, incentives, and advanced social security system and well-adapted everyday work schedules. Shuttling company vehicles provide the everyday transport to the personnel.

Leclar is financially supporting Vela Institution for Social Action and Development, a local association which was opened for the destitute and handicapped children in the Tamilnadu region.

Leclar has entrusted its production unit to M. Paramasivam, a master designer for 20 years, who ensures the quality of the production.



To cleanliness


Leclar has introduced a cleaning programme of its production unit as part of the move to prevent professional risks and also as part of the programme of conformity to rules and the security of the production infrastructure.


Leclar invites you to discover its commitment in eco notions in its factory at Chennai. Seminars on the company and visits are organized for the clients.
